These Amazing Local Girls Have Baked Over 7,000 Cupcakes for Victims of Hurricane Sandy

Emma and Nina from Operation Cupcake visit with Andy Chase of 105.7 The Hawk and Mike Schwartz of Hometown Heroes.

Emma and Nina, two local fifth graders, stopped by The Hawk studios to tell listeners about their Operation Cupcake project.

Since Hurricane Sandy the girls have baked over 7,000 cupcakes for victims and relief workers of the devastating coastal storm. They have also raised money to provide new appliances for families whose homes were destroyed.
