Take a look at this fantastic video, reminding us that "LBI Is Alive"

I received an email recently and was asked to watch a video done by a local high school student. Jimmy Ward at Southern Regional High School. He put together a video which basically reminds folks that despite Hurricane Sandy taking a big punch at Long Beach Island ... LBI Is Alive! Jimmy joined with over 200 businesses from the area to create this initiative.

Like so many communities around the Jersey Shore, LBI is planning to be ready for the Summer 2013 Tourism Season. I plan on having my beach badges for "Ship Bottom" as we have had for years now. The beautiful beaches and area businesses involved with the "Shore" are part of us and support is vital this year to keep our family, friends and fellow residents working and keeping the "Shore" area alive. Please visit Restore The Shore for useful information and ways to receive or give help.

Another exceptional group that WOBM has partnered with is Hometown Heroes . Please visit their website for more details. There are still thousands of residents who are trying to rebuild their homes, please donate if you can to help them following this disaster. Local residents continue to battle with FEMA and the "insurance" companies ... So if you were lucky enough to have not suffered sever damage due to "Sandy" do what you can to help a neighbor. We here at WOBM/Townsquare Media pledge to continue to do anything we can to help residents and businesses.
