
AmeriCorps Response Team Seeks Volunteers, Wants to Help Homeowners
In the wake of Superstorm Sandy, Ocean County AmeriCorps is seeking volunteers to assist with their clean-up efforts.
Currently the organization is hard at work assisting residents with storm-damaged homes with debris removal and hauling. For every individual volunteer hour recorded, FEMA will reimburse the state of New Jersey for $21.50.
