I'm Laurie...holdin' down the Point studio weekdays from 10-3p and Saturdays 8p-midnight! I mostly grew up in Marlboro and now live in Red Bank. In the studio you'll usually find me checking out my social media pages or looking for funny or interesting stories to talk about. Outside the studio, I'm a total foodie, and I love to travel to new places! Other loves include Penn State (my alma mater), The Real Housewives franchises (guilty pleasure), and generally pretending like I know what I'm doing (Fake it 'til ya make it!). Oh, and my husband Duzzy is pretty cool too.

How to Prepare for Hurricane Joaquin [LIST]
While Hurricane Joaquin's path is still uncertain, there's no need to panic here at the Jersey Shore.

Several local charity groups have come together for one particular group of kids.
Free Prom Dresses for Hurricane Sandy Victims
It's almost Prom season, and while many girls are starting to shop for their special dresses, some don't have that luxury.

Spring Fix Brings Sandy Help and Concert to the Shore

Few people can understand the devastation we're facing post-Sandy like the people of New Orleans.

Thanksgiving Event Planned for Displaced Families
So many families have been displaced by Hurricane Sandy and with Thanksgiving just around the corner (it's only a week away! Ack!) one local resident wants those in need to have a chance to enjoy the holiday.
Brick PAL Needs Volunteers
Many people who spent a good chunk of time volunteering after Hurricane Sandy have gone back to work and school, leaving many local groups in need of help.
Jon Bon Jovi Visits First Responders in Sea Bright
